Meet Your August Resident of the Month

Meet Your August Resident of the Month: Gene B.

Gene Belton was born on July 12, 1962, in Chester Scared Heart Hospital, Chester, PA, to stepdad and mother, Bill and Ruth Bailey. He is the oldest of four.

Growing up in Chester, Gene attended Chester High School where he played soccer, football (he was a wide receiver), and baseball, as an outfielder.

He was in construction most of his working life; as a brick/block layer and finished concrete, too. In his spare time, Gene also enjoyed bowling; he’s been good enough to bowl a ‘turkey’.

He met his wife of 19 loving years while bowling. He was 30 and she was an agency Nurse Supervisor but also had a career, after obtaining her MA’s, in Forensic Science. They honeymooned in Nassau, Bahamas. He is proud to say they never argued. Gene is a proud uncle, who spoiled them rotten, then sent them home…lol!!  He says “If I had it to do over…don’t drink and smoke”.

Here at Regency, Gene is involved with Morning Coffee, Bingo and Pokeno but enjoys socializing with everyone. He is a gentleman!
